I've often fantasized about 3D imaging some of the smaller controversial fossils now viewed only through shadow interpretation, including Cosesaurus, Longisquama, Scleromochlus, etc. Some workers at the University of Chicago were working with laser imaging, but the resolution was too coarse. I tried electron microscopy, but the originals were too large, about hand sized.

I hope someday your imaging technique removes some of the mystery from these fossils.
