GREAT! BUT HOW WOULD YOU MANAGE WITH (PALAEO-)BOTANICAL PAPERS?
We should launch a lobbying campaign to get these good people adopt the same rule as for the ICZN!

Thanks for your correspondence. We couldn't agree more. In the meantime, if you've got a manuscript in mind, I'd encourage you to send it to us - we're a bit short on manuscripts from your field, and you could pave the way for your paleobotanical counterparts. Given past history, where the ICZN goes, the ICBN is likely to follow - so PE seems like a logical first step to get the ICBN to include electronic publication of nomenclature in botany.
