Jere H. Lipps is Professor in the Department of Integrative Biology and Curator in the Museum of Paleontology at the University of California, Berkeley. A past president of the Paleontological Society and the Cushman Foundation for Foraminiferal Research, Inc, and the 1993 awardee for the Darwin Award and the 2006 Joseph A.
