Jim Haggart works with scientists from around the North Pacific Rim, using paleoecological, paleoenvironmental, and paleoclimatic analysis to unravel the complex Mesozoic geology and paleontology of this significant region of the globe. His studies of the geographic distributions of Cretaceous molluscan fossil groups of North America have provided important evidence bearing on the geological history of the so-called “exotic” terranes of the Canadian Cordillera.
