Terry Lott is a research scientist in the Paleobotany Section of the Florida Museum of Natural History, manages the Genetics Resource Repository, and helps out in the herbarium. He received a BS in Botany at the University of Florida in 1989. His research interest includes fossil leaf veination and cuticular studies, fossil fruit anatomy, and modern plant collections. His most recent fossil collecting trips include Cuba, China, and Florida, plus a trip to western United States collecting host plants for the moth family Pterophoridae.
