Steve Leslie received a B.S. in Geology from Bowling Green State University in 1988, a M.S. in geology from the University of Idaho in 1990, and a Ph.D. in paleontology from The Ohio State University in 1995. His primary research interests in paleontology are conodont biostratigraphy, paleobiology and taphonomy of conodonts, and biofacies/lithofacies relationships. As a postdoctoral research scientist at The Ohio State University, his research interests expanded to include the taphonomy of soft-bodied animals focusing on the Chengjiang biota. He is currently Assistant Professor of Earth Sciences at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, 2801 South University, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204-1099.
