Yikun Li has a B.S. in Geology (Stratigraphy and Paleontology) from Nanjing University, and a Ph.D. in Stratigraphy and Paleontology from Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He works on the taxonomy and phylogeny of Late Cenozoic bovid fossils, and also develops his interests on the ruminant evolution.

Qinqin Shi has a B.S. in Biology from Zhejiang University, and a Ph.D. in Stratigraphy and Paleontology from Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She works as an assistant scientist in Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and studies the systematics of Neogene bovid fossils.

Shaokun Chen has a B.S. in Biotechnology from Hebei University, and a Ph.D. in Stratigraphy and Paleontology from Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He currently works as a senior scientist in China Three Gorges Museum, and also becomes the director of Three Gorges Institute of Paleoanthropology, China Three Gorges Museum since 2016. He studies the taxonomy and phylogeny of Late Cenozoic perissodactyl fossils, and also involves his energy into the paleolithic research.
