Pavel Frolov graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia) in 2010 and received his Ph.D. in 2013 at Geological Institute of RAS. He has been working at Geological Institute since 2009 and at St. Petersburg State University since 2016. His interests are mainly focused on Pliocene-Pleistocene freshwater, brackish water, and terrestrial molluscs.

Guzel Danukalova graduated from Bashkir State University in 1981 (Ufa, Russia). From that time on Danukalova works in Institute of Geology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ufa, Russia. In 1991 at the Borissiak Paleontological Institute Russian Academy of sciences (Moscow) she defended thesis of candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences, published as a monograph “Bivalve molluscs and Akchagyl stratigraphy” in 1996. Her scope of interests includes Neogene and Quaternary biostratigraphy of northern Eurasia, freshwater, brackish water, marine and terrestrial molluscs, as well as education in paleontology and Quaternary geology.

Eugenia Osipova graduated from Bashkir State Pedagogical University n. a. M. Akmulla in 2002 (Ufa, Russia). From that time on Osipova works in Institute of Geology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ufa, Russia. In 2009 at the Borissiak Paleontological Institute Russian Academy of sciences (Moscow) she defended thesis of candidate of geological and mineralogical sciences “Molluscs of Pleistocene and Holocene of the Southern-Uralian region”. Her scope of interests includes Neogene and Quaternary freshwater, brackish water, marine and terrestrial molluscs of northern Eurasia.
