Data on M. nativus is based on holotype MLP 73-IV-15-8 and specimen MLP 73-IV-15-9 as shown by Bona et al. (2013a, b), as well as on specimen UFAC- 1424 in Tineo et al. (2015). Data on M. atopus is based on holotype UCMP 38012 in Langston (1965, 1966). Data on M. arendsi is based mainly on holotype UNEFM-CIAAP-1297 as described by Bocquentin Villanueva (1984) 1, as well as on our revised interpretation of the holotype presented herein2. As noted in the discussion, some characters are deemed to be of little taxonomic utility (e.g., characters 9, 10) and need to be treated with caution.
