The news correspondent asked all the wrong questions, did not listen to the correct explanations, and wrote a story that "a new species of animal was found that is not good to eat because it tastes like sand". Interviews with the news media must be conducted with care and understanding between the scientist and reporter. N. antarktikos ranges in size up to about 6 cm tall, fairly large for a foraminiferan.
