Locality Y410, site of the Sivapithecus face (GSP 15000), which was found by Mark Soloman during a biostratigraphic survey (KL03).  These surveys encouraged people to search difficult outcrops and normally unproductive lithologies.  A mass of bone that turned out to be part of the cranium of the specimen was just emerging near the base of the outcrops of floodplain silts (circle where people are clustered); another year of gully erosion would have made recovery of the intact specimen impossible.
