Qiu Zhuding is a senior research scientist at the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Academia Sinica, Beijing. Former Director of IVPP, he devotes his energies to curation and study of Neogene vertebrate microfossils. He instructs numerous students in the art of small mammal paleontology, and shares with Will a desire to disseminate information broadly in both China and other countries.
