Ken Johnson is a Researcher in the Department of Palaeontology at the Natural History Museum in London. He received a BSc (1985) in Geology from Saint Lawrence University, and a PhD in Geology (1991) from the University of Iowa. Prior to moving to London he was an Assistant Curator of Invertebrate Paleontology at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and he has worked at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the University of Glasgow. He is interested in the systematics and ecology of scleractinian corals from the Cenozoic rocks of the Caribbean and Indo-Pacific. He is also interested in finding new ways to share palaeontological data with the widest possible community.
