Andrew Farke is a Ph.D. candidate in anatomical sciences at Stony Brook University, and he received his B.Sc. in geology from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. His research primarily focuses on the evolution of the paranasal sinuses in both horned dinosaurs and horned mammals. However, he also maintains interests in ceratopsid systematics and functional morphology, as well as paleopathology. Andrew is particularly interested in the evolution of large cranial size and its implications for functional morphology. He has participated in fieldwork in Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and South Dakota, with his most recent field emphasis in the Upper Cretaceous of northern Madagascar. Andrew serves on the student committee and information management committee for the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology, and is on the editorial and advisory boards for the Paleoportal website.
