Dan
Hikuroa is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Auckland whose
interests range broadly within the sedimentology and paleontology spectrum. He
has worked in Antarctica on Jurassic sequences and faunas and is currently
working on Cretaceous climate-ocean interaction in the ‘greenhouse’ and
paleonviromental analysis of some Pleistocene sequences, both of which are in
New Zealand. A new focus is the quantification of ‘environmental collapse’
following ‘mega-eruptions’.
