Sakineh is an Iranian resident who completed her education in Iran where she studied the biostratigraphy and geochemistry of Permian deposits in the Kalmard, Shotori, an Shirgesht areas, east-central Iran. She is lecturer at the University of Lorestan, Khorramabad, Iran, and worked on a joint project with Dr. P.E. Isaacson from the University of Idaho, USA, on the Permian sequence stratigraphy in Kalmard and Tabas areas, east-central Iran.
