Natalia
Vázquez Riveiros received her Bachelor in Marine Sciences by the University of
Vigo (Spain) in 2000. In 2003, she moved to Ottawa, Canada, where she started
her M.Sc. thesis at Carleton University. She worked on foraminifera and
thecamoebians to develop the paleoceanographic history of the Seymour-Belize
Inlet Complex, British Columbia, Canada, through the last 1100 years, and
graduated in 2006. She is now working towards her PhD at the Laboratoire des
Sciences du Climat et de l’Environnement in Gif-sur-Yvette (France), on the
paleoclimatic reconstruction and modeling of the Marine Isotope Stage 11 time
period. |
