Subhendu Bardhan, received his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University and has been on the faculty there since 1981 where he is now a Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences. He works on various groups of mega-invertebrate fossils and has strong interest in unraveling palaeobiological intrigues, evolution and extinction. Recent coastal biota – their ecology and responses to human impact and recent climate changes also form the focus of his current research. |
