Voytek Klaptocz is a mechanical engineer whose experience lies in aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, mechanical design, experimental testing and use of advanced analysis tools for research and commercial applications. He received his B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo in 2002 and in 2006, Voytek completed an M.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC), specializing in Naval Architecture. After working for 2 years as a research engineer at UBC, Voytek co-founded a company working towards the commercialization of an ocean energy device. |
