Andrew
Farke received his B.Sc. in geology at South Dakota School of Mines and
Technology, and his Ph.D. in anatomical sciences at Stony Brook University. Now,
he is curator of paleontology at the Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology.
Farke’s research interests focus on functional morphology of the skull
(particularly in horned dinosaurs), among other things. His field projects have
taken him from western North America to Madagascar, in pursuit of research on
Late Cretaceous faunas and biogeography. Farke also maintains a blog on
paleontological technology and career advice,
