Ever since Sebastian Stapfer has been fascinated by technical systems. After an
initial year of studying biology at the University in Zürich, Switzerland, he
has changed over to study systems engineering with specialization in automation
at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland. During his
diploma thesis, which he accomplished in 2007 to obtain a degree as Dipl. Ing.
Systemtechnik FH, he became engaged in mechatronics, an interdisciplinary area
between engineering, electronics and informatics. Currently, Sebastian works as
scientific assistant at University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland,
and is engaged in the practical education and students training in the
trinational (CH-D-F) study course for mechatronics engineers. |
