After working two years as an electrician Lukas Widmer graduated at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland with a bachelor degree in electro- and information technology. His specialty is automation. The topic of his bachelor thesis was the development and implementation of an automated character recognition and –removal tool for AMOR. Next to automation he is interested in process-, measuring-, and control technology. But he also likes mountaineering, biking, badminton and volleyball.
