Neil
is a research fellow at the University of Hull. His current research interests
involve the analysis of biomechanical systems using multibody dynamics analysis
and finite element analysis. This research focuses on skulls, and aims to
develop state-of-the-art three dimensional models to predict complex loading
derived through feeding and other associated mechanisms. Understanding bone
structure and remodelling along with evolutionary changes in skull form provide
the main stimulus for this research. Neil also has significant experience with
micro-CT processes and the analysis of the resulting image datasets.
