Kent A. Stevens received his B.S. (Engineering) and M.S. (Computer Science) from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Ph.D. (Artificial Intelligence) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He joined the faculty of the University of Oregon in 1982. His research interests relate to computer graphics, vision, and visualization, and for over a decade has been investigating dinosaur skeletal reconstructions using computers. Recently he has been exploring algorithms for incorporating kinematic constraints on walking gait reconstructions in bipeds and quadrupeds. |
