Kate Bulinski is an Assistant Professor of Geosciences in the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.   She received her B.S. in Geoscience from The Pennsylvania State University and her Ph.D. from University of Cincinnati.  Aside from teaching three classes for undergraduate students each semester, she is working on a new research project focusing on the relationship between fine-scale variation in fossil biodiversity and lithology within the type Cincinnatian (Upper Ordovician) rocks of northern Kentucky along with her research student Michelle Johnston.  In addition to teaching and research, Kate is working to launch a new Geoscience minor at Bellarmine University.
