Dr. Kai Puolamäki is a Chief Research Scientist and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Information and Computer Science in Aalto University, Finland. He completed his Ph.D. in 2001 in theoretical physics at the University of Helsinki. His primary interests lie in the areas of data mining, machine learning and related algorithms, and especially their application in ecology and user modeling.“
