Sally J. Cole has a M.A. in anthropology (archaeology emphasis) and is a consulting archaeologist working on the Colorado Plateau. She is author of three books including the 2009 revised edition of Legacy on Stone: Rock Art of the Colorado Plateau and Four Corners Region and numerous professional reports, articles, and papers. Over the past 25 years, she has directed major and multiyear research projects in remote areas of southeastern Utah and southwestern Colorado.
