Robert L. (“Buck”) Sanford, Jr. is Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Denver. He received a Ph.D. in Wildland Resource Science from the University of California-Berkeley in 1985. He studies ecology from an ecosystem perspective at field sites in dry and moist tropical forests, temperate forests, and treeline and alpine habitats.
