One of her main concentrations is the palaeodiet reconstruction of large Neogene herbivore communities. She is interested in 3D morphometrics and computational methods, and she has applied multi-view stereo 3D reconstruction method to her palaeodietary studies. She is also interested in genetics and developmental biology. In addition she is presently doing experimental taphonomy studies in collaboration with Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki.
