Dr. Elisabeth Alve, born 1957. Professor in micropaleontology at the Department of Geosciences, University of Oslo, Norway, since 1999. Her main research interests are benthic foraminiferal ecology and –palaeoecology, environmental geology, and taphonomy. She has published 45 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
