Dinosaur Isle (formerly Museum of Isle of Wight Geology)

As part of their educational activities, the Dinosaur Isle museum offers guided field trips to three fossiliferous Cretaceous localities - St. Catherine's Point, Yaverland and Shanklin.

The website illustrates some of the fossils likely to be found (ammonoids, nautiloids and molluscs), and localities are described in sufficient detail to be visited independently.
