Julia M. Fahlke is a Feodor Lynen Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin, Germany. She is interested in general functional morphology of extinct mammals, especially morphological changes during cetacean evolution, in applications of computed tomography (CT) and three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction in paleontological analyses, and in reconstruction of paleodiets of extinct mammals. Her current projects are focused on diet and feeding in archaeocete whales, and on cranial morphology of archaeocete and fossil mysticete whales, including the development and significance of cranial asymmetry.
