Camille Grohé defended her Ph.D. thesis in Paleontology at the University of Poitiers (France) in 2011. She is now in post-doctorate at the Institut des Sciences de l’Évolution de Montpellier, University of Montpellier 2 (France). She focuses her research on systematics, paleoecology and paleobiogeography of carnivorous mammals (Carnivora and “Creodonta”) from the Paleogene and Miocene of the Old World, especially in Southeast Asia and Northern Africa. She also works on the morphological evolution of sensorial structures of carnivoran mammals, using CT-scanning and geometric morphometric methods.

Louis de Bonis is professor emeritus at the University of Poitiers, France. He focuses his research on primate and carnivoran systematics and evolution. He has been notably involved in field excavations in the miocene Ouranopithecus-bearing sites (Northern Greece) and in the paleogene localities of the “Phosphorites du Quercy” (Southern France). He also works on the diversity and evolution of Carnivora from the Mio-Pliocene of Africa, especially in Chad.

Yaowalak Chaimanee was researcher at the Department of Mineral Resources of Bangkok before working at the University of Poitiers (France). She is involved in numerous field excavations related to the origin and evolution of strepsirrhine and anthropoid primates in the Paleogene of Asia and Northern Africa and of hominoids in the Miocene of Southeast Asia. Her research also deals with the evolution of mammal faunas and paleoenvironments of the tertiary and quaternary of Southeast Asia.

Cécile Blondel is assistant professor at the University of Poitiers (France). She focuses her research on the phylogeny of Mio-Pliocene Bovidae from Chad and Ethiopia and also on the reconstruction of paleoenvironments using the dental microwear analysis on both ungulates and primates.

Jean-jacques Jaeger is professor at the University of Poitiers, France. His research contributes to improve our knowledge on the origin and evolution of anthropoid and strepsirrhine primates in Asia and Africa, as well as on the evolutionary history of the miocene hominoids from Southeast Asia and the evolution of mammal faunas and paleoenvironments from the paleogene and neogene of Southeast Asia and Northern Africa.
