His research focuses on the taxonomy and paleobiogeography of Late Miocene small mammals of the Moldavian Plate. He has been paleontologist on National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History of Moldova and at present made several paleontological interventions in localities with small mammalian fauna of Vallesian and Turolian age.
