Dr Natalia Starzyk recently gained her PhD from the International Doctoral Studies in Natural Sciences at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków. Jurassic crabs from Polish Jura localities were the subject of her PhD dissertation. In 2014 she started working in the Institute of Systematics and Evolution of Animals of Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research is currently focused on the evolution and diversity of first crabs on European localities.
