Alla Valeria I. Mikhalevich - protozoologist, micropaleontologist, corresponding Member of EASAL (European Academy of Science, Arts and Literature), honorable member of Grzybowski Foundation, co-chairperson of the IWGFC - Intern. Working Group Foraminiferal Classification (Grzybowsky Foundation), member of EURO SCIENCE, of Scientific Council of SPASS (St. Petersburg Assosiation of Scientists and Scolars), other sci societes, of Union of Writers of St. Petersburg and of Russia, of International PEN club. Author of five monographs, of about 300 articles in fundamental Russian and International scientific editions, of 14 books of poetry and translations. Have awards both in Science and literature (Russian Academy of Science Awards – 2002, 2012, 2014, Grzybowski Foundation Award - 2006, Zabolotzky award - 2007, Woman of the Year -2009 in Science, St. Petersburg, EASAL Award – 2012, 2014, Certificate of Excellence in the "Best Manual Category", Club of Rectors Academic Council, Oxford, 2014: for the book "Post-Cambrian Testate Foraminifera as a system in its evolution"2013, Winner of the Open International "Scientist of the Year 2016" Competition (Diploma № 36250101-2016).
