Nathan Van Vranken is a vertebrate paleontologist based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His research interests include studying Cretaceous coastal biota of North America, Texas geology, and the early evolution of early tetrapod fauna in the Appalachian Basin. Nathan holds as M.Sci in Geology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

Chris Fielitz is a biology professor at Emory & Henry College located in southwest Virginia, USA. His research focuses on late Cretaceous fishes of North America. He is particularly interested in the phylogenetic relationships between living and extinct members of the order Aulopiformes (lizardfishes). He has also done work on anguilliform eel systematics.

Jun Ebersole is the Director of Collections at McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Jun oversees the Alabama Collections Center, a collection that houses nearly 500,000 specimens and objects related to the paleontology, archaeology, and geology of Alabama. Jun is both an archaeologist and paleontologist and has conducted fieldwork in various parts of the United States as well as in East Africa. Jun has published numerous peer-reviewed studies on vertebrate paleontology, archaeology, and local history.
