Morana Mihaljević is a paleobiologist and science communicator and educator at the University of Zurich. She studied at the University of Zagreb and University of Zurich. She obtained her PhD (Palaeoecology) from the University of Queensland where she also worked as a postdoctoral researcher. Since 2017, Morana works at the science education center at the Faculty of Science at the University of Zurich. Her research mostly focuses on marine diversity (scleractinia and echinoids) throughout Neogene in the context of marine biodiversity hotspots.
