Vasilis Teodoridis, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and Environmental Studies, Faculty of Education, Charles University, Prague. His research focuses on (1) leaf anatomy and morphology of the Palaeogene and Neogene, (2) application of paleoenvironmental techniques to the fossil record (Climate Leaf Analysis Multivariate Program, Leaf Margin Analysis, Coexistence Approach, Phytosociological approach, IPR-vegetation analysis, and Leaf Size Analysis).

Petr Mazouch, Ph.D. is statistician focusing on the application of statistics in different areas. His favourite field is demography but as he works at the Department of Economic Statistics, he is interested in all applications of statistics in economics and not only there. For a long time he cooperates with biologists and doctors to develop and implement statistics in biology and medicine. He studied at the University of Economics, Prague in the program focused to statistics and its application.

Dr. Johanna Kovar-Eder is a palaeobotanist focussing on taxonomy, flora and vegetation evolution in the Palaeogene and Neogene of the Northern hemisphere. She started here scientific career in the Natural History Museum in Vienna, Austria. Since 2002 she is the director of the State Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart, Germany. During her activity in Austria she was teaching at the Universities of Vienna and Graz. Currently she is teaching at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart.
