Robert J. O’Flynn is a Post-Graduate Researcher in Palaeobiology at the Yunnan Key Laboratory for Palaeobiology. He received his Bachelor of Science (with Honours) in Palaeontology from the University of Portsmouth and is studying for a research degree (Geology PhD) at the University of Leicester. His work focuses on arthropods from the Chengjiang (Series 2, Stage 3) Konservat-Lagerstätte.

Mark Williams is Professor of Palaeobiology at the University of Leicester, and Co-Director of the Yunnan Key Laboratory for Palaeobiology. He is interested in the evolution of the biosphere from the Cambrian to the Anthropocene.
