APPENDIX

The fossil record of late Miocene lissamphibians and squamate reptiles from the northern border of Eastern Paratethys.

The fossil localities included are from the Republic of Moldova: Bushor 1 (MN 9), Cioburciu (MN 11), Cimislia (MN 12); Romania: Crețești (MN 9), Fălciu-Prut 1 (MN 11-12); Russia: Gaverdovsky (MN 11), Volchaya Balka (MN 11), Sonechnodolsk (MN 13); and Ukraine: Gritsev (MN 9), Cherevichnoje (MN 12).

The faunal lists from the included localities are based on the work of several authors, as it follows: Bushor 1 (Chkhikvadze and Lungu, 1973; Zerova and Chkhikvadze, 1984), Cherevichnoje - lower level (Chkhikvadze, 1984; Zerova and Chkhikvadze, 1984; Szyndlar and Zerova, 1992), Crețești (Codrea et al., 2017), Cioburciu (Lungu and Delinschi, 2006; Delinschi, 2009), Cimislia (Delinschi, 2008, 2009), Fălciu (this paper), Gaverdovsky (Tesakov et al., 2017; Syromyatnikova, 2017a, 2018), Gritsev (Zerova, 1987, 1989, 1992; Szyndlar and Zerova, 1990; Ivanov, 1999; Vasilyan et al., 2013; Roček et al., 2014; Vasilyan and Yanenko, 2020), Solnechnodolsk (Syromyatnikova, 2017b; Čerňanský et al., 2018; Čerňanský and Syromyatnikova, 2019, 2021), Volchaya Balka (Syromyatnikova, 2017, 2018; Tesakov et al., 2017; Syromyatnikova and Roček, 2019).
