Lu studied Geology (B.Sc.) at Durham University, Palaeobiology at Bristol University (M.Sc.), Museum Studies at Leicester University (M.Sc.) and Principles of Conservation at University College London (M.A.). Lu is currently a Principal Conservator at the Natural History Museum in London (UK). Her role includes co-ordinating the conservation of all Earth Science collections projects and work requests and undertaking research to develop preservation techniques.

Kieran Miles studied Palaeobiology and Evolution at the University of Portsmouth (BSc). He has been working at the Natural History Museum in London in various roles since 2005, including assisting the preparation of a sauropod dinosaur and a four-year project to treat and prevent pyrite oxidation in the palaeontology collections. He became the Fossil Preparator at the NHM in 2022.

Innes Clatworthy studied Biomedical sciences at the University of Westminster (B.Sc.) before entering a career as a clinical scientist specialising in renal diagnosis. He joined the NHM in 2018 as an electron microscopist managing scanning electrons microscopes.
