Harriet B. Drage (she/her) is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She works on reconstructing the behaviours (particularly exoskeleton moulting) and ecologies of long-extinct arthropods, and is interested in how we can better view extinct arthropods not as fossils, but as living animals. She has a PhD in Environmental Research (Palaeobiology) from the University of Oxford, UK, and previously worked as a Commissioning Editor in science education for Oxford University Press. She is dedicated to improving equity in palaeontology, promoting equitable specimen and data access globally, and contributing to world-leading research in Switzerland. In her spare time, she loves hiking, climbing, and weightlifting.
