Jasper Ponstein is a PhD candidate at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and a visiting researcher at the Oertijdmuseum since 2021. His main research focus is the evolution of herbivory in Paleozoic tetrapods, while maintaining a broad interest in fossil tetrapods as a whole.

Jonathan Wallaard is working as curator in the Oertijdmuseum since 2018, when he finished his masters at Utrecht University. He is leading the preparatory facilities, supervising students from several different universities and doing research with a main focus on Miocene decapods.

Maarten de Rijke is working as Curator at the Oertijdmuseum since 2022, when he finished his masters at University of Opole. He is leading the conservation facilities, supervising students and doing research with a main focus on Cretaceous vertebrates.

René Fraaije is a Dutch palaeontologist and geologist specialized in fossil decapod crustaceans, especially hermit crabs, and their role in former ecosystems. Other research includes cephalopod ecology, ichnology, bracket fungi, dinosaurs, cycloids, ostracods and echinoderms. He collected his first fossil at the age of eleven and founded the Oertijdmuseum in 1983.
