Diana Osipova is a PhD student of the joint program at the Academia Sinica and National Taiwan Normal University. She is studying the molluscan fossil fauna of the Indo-West Pacific (IWP), with a specific focus on Taiwan. Her main objectives of the study are the investigation of poorly reported molluscan groups in the IWP and understanding the role of mollusks in the process of establishing the biodiversity hotspot in the Indo-Australian Archipelago.

Chien-Hsiang Lin is an associate research fellow at the Biodiversity Research Center, Academia Sinica. He is a broadly trained marine paleontologist specializing in fish fossils, with a focus on using fish otoliths for taxonomic and ecological studies. His research primarily centers on deep-time marine fossils to understand how environmental change and global events have shaped marine biodiversity over geological timescales. He also investigates changes in marine communities before and after human impacts, exploring past life histories and habitat use at the finest scales.
