Yoshi Tanaka is a curator at Sapporo Museum Activity Center, Japan and also a researcher at Hokkaido University Museum and Numata Fossil Museum. He works on the morphology and phylogeny of marine mammals (dolphins, porpoises, whales and walruses) from Japan, Ecuador and New Zealand. He is interest in both paleontology and museology.

Toshiyuki Kimura is an assistant curator and assistant manager at Gunma Museum of Natural History. He is a cetologist who for the last 30 years has been studying the phylogeny and evolution of fossil and living cetaceans.

Tatsuya Shinmura is a curator at Ashoro Museum of Paleontology. His primary research interests include 3D reconstruction and organic geochemical analysis of fossil marine mammals. He is also involved in fossil identification and public science outreach, and actively integrates digital techniques such as photogrammetry and volumetric modeling into paleontological research.

Dr. Hitoshi Furusawa was a curator at Sapporo Museum Activity Center, Japan. He started this project and passed away in 2023. He contributed on the morphology and phylogeny of marine mammals, especially sea cows for the half century from 1980s.
