Deqiong Luo earned her bachelor’s degree in 2023 from the School of Mining and Mechanical Engineering at Liupanshui Normal University. Since 2023, she has been pursuing a master’s degree at the School of Geosciences, Yangtze University. From 2024 to 2025, she is engaged in a joint training program at the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on Cretaceous dictyopteran insects.

 Professor Chuantao Xiao obtained his bachelor's degree in Geology and Paleontology from China University of Geosciences in 1986, followed by a master’s degree in 1989 and a doctoral degree in 2011, both from the same institution. Since 2002, he has been serving as a professor in the School of Geosciences at Yangtze University. His research interests lie in evolutionary palaeontology, palaeoecology, and carbonate sedimentation. He has led or participated in numerous research projects, including four funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

 Dr. Cihang Luo was born in 1998 in China. He earned his bachelor's degree in Geology from the School of Geosciences at Yangtze University in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he pursued a master's degree at the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he transitioned directly into a doctoral program in September 2022. He received his PhD in 2025 and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the same institute. His research focuses on the origin and early evolution of Hexapoda and parasitic worms.
