Dr. Andris Bukejs is a researcher at Institute of Life Sciences and Technologies, Daugavpils University. His research focuses on Coleoptera in Eocene Baltic amber. Andris Bukejs is a Member of the Latvian Entomological Society and author of more than 110 publications.

Fabrizio Fanti was born on 12.19.1976 in Sarteano (Tuscany, Siena, Italy). Shortly thereafter, he became fascinated with nature surrounding him, chocolate and Inter Football Club. Intolerant to the study as it is set in Italian schools, he completed very strict Italian Accounting courses with high grades. He immediately became interested in natural sciences, focusing particularly in zoology. After a fortuitous meeting with a friend, he started studying worldwide occurrences of Cantharoidea, both living and fossilized. This is the field where I intend to become a specialist.

Dr. McKellar is the Curator of Invertebrate Palaeontology at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum; an Adjunct Professor in the Biology Department, University of Regina; and a Research Affiliate of the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, University of Kansas. His research focusses on amber inclusions (particularly Hymenoptera, Coleoptera, and Vertebrata), resin chemistry, and amber stable isotopic compositions.
