Yolanda Fernández-Jalvo, scientific researcher of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas working at the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales of Madrid. She is Palaeontologist, background in Geology. She started her research in Taphonomy in 1988, introduced in the small mammal taphonomy by Peter Andrews, co-authoring several publications of small and large mammals, including hominins. Recently co-authored the Atlas of Taphonomic Identifications (Springer, 2016) and Understanding Time in Taphonomy (Nova, 2019).
