Peter Larson is the President and founder of Black Hills Institute of Geological Research, Inc. Black Hills Institute is an Earth Science supply house that provides geological and paleontological specimens for research and display, world-wide. His research areas include Tyrannosaurids, dinosaur behavior, and soft tissue preservation. He also works with the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Menlo Park, California, USA and Manchester University, Manchester, United Kingdom, on an active research program of X-ray Fluorescence Scanning and the elemental surface mapping of fossils.
